This complex was the first phase of a master plan also designed by this architect.  It has become a standard for all buildings on the site.  It required office space with support facilities including meeting rooms, a cafeteria, fitness center, and 500 parking spaces.

The concept was based on the layering of public and private functions.  The podium is an ‘urban plaza’ incorporating meeting rooms, computer center, restaurant and informal gathering places.  It contains support facilities and is positioned over a parking garage allowing views beyond the adjacent raised highway.  The architect also designed all the interior spaces and applied ‘green’ building technology based on the image of the client as a progressive, sophisticated international organization with strong roots in the community.

The tower above the podium containing office space is visible from a distance fulfilling the cities desire for a modern landmark that expresses honesty, equality and social responsibility.
